Omnicar approaches the launch of its digital sales platform with new experienced sales profile

As previously announced, during the first quarter of 2022 Omnicar will launch a new digital sales platform for pre-owned electric and hybrid cars – a 100% digital solution where the customer will be able to close a car deal including financing, service, charging station, etc.

To ensure that Omnicar succeeds with this new sales platform, we have appointed Simon Sylvest-Darket as new Sales Director. Simon’s primary focus will be to ensure Omnicar’s differentiation from the traditional car dealer, by creating a 100% digital buying process and a 24/7 presence for the customer.

Simon comes from a position as branch manager at one the largest car dealers in Denmark. With responsibility for annual turnover of +180 million DKK and 35 FTEs including a turnaround of less than 2 years, Simon has already shown great results. In the same group, Simon worked as PA for the Executive Board with a primary focus on optimizing and developing sales processes for the sale of more than 10,000 cars annually.

With Simon’s experience and skills from the automotive industry, as well as his solid and proven track record, he is a perfect match for Omnicar and our journey going forward. Simon is one of the few in the industry to have broad knowledge of and at the same time an innovative approach to business development.
