Mercedes-Benz Norway has chosen OmniCar’s software solution to handle service agreements for a wide range of utility vehicles.

OmniCar’s solution is set to be implemented for a wide variety of Mercedes-Benz utility vehicles such as coaches, buses, police cars, ambulances, food trucks and garbage trucks as well as for cars used by security companies and for distribution of commodities such as newspapers, etc.

The new deal with Mercedes-Benz in Norway shows how scalable the OmniCar solution is. So far, OmniCar has primarily been used for service agreements for privately held cars, but the new agreement with Mercedes-Benz demonstrates that the software is applicable to all kinds of vehicles.

Claus T. Hansen, Group CEO of OmniCar Holding, says: “The benefit of signing a deal with OmniCar is our ability to customise the service agreement for the specific car brand and for specific purposes. We are happy to cooperate with Mercedes-Benz in Norway and to show to the rest of the market and industry how flexible and scalable our solution truly is.”

During the last nine months, Mercedes-Benz and their 60 dealers in Norway have used OmniCar’s software solution to sell and manage service agreements to their private car consumers. Last month, Mercedes-Benz in Norway implemented a digital and automated solution to manage service agreements for taxis and driving schools.
